I am a PhD student in my first year at the Queen Mary University London. My research focuses on the use of smart wearables to improve health and wellbeing of individuals. I am especially interested in the tracking of different personal health parameters of individuals by using wearable sensors. This data can then be brought together with environmental data as well as social data of the individual or closely related persons to help identify correlations. The question is, how the knowledge of this data and potential smart feedback of the body-worn computers can help the individual to change their behaviour and promote health and wellbeing.
My Research interests are: smart sensors/environments, health and wellbeing promotion through technology
